Pete,
After reading your blog today, I was overcome with an overwhelming sadness. Just realizing how close we were to losing you and Sherri and the kids. Then a crazy thought came to me...what if you really did die and God decided to breathe life back into you to allow you to be his witnesses. He gave you a story to tell and to glorify him in the telling. I think you could write a Best Seller christian book. You and Sherri and Madison and Logan continue to be in my prayers. Much love

I've been waiting for this Leadership and...post-tornado edition, Pete! Thank you so much for the detailed account. It helps to better wrap my mind around something so very incomprehensible! I'm so very grateful that you and your family have survived to write this post and to share with your grandkids. God is going to use this experience to something AMAZING in your, Sherri's Madison's and Logan's lives. Meanwhile, we are praying hard for you during the recovery process.

Good ideas. I'm a Tebow fan, too. He's doing something right, don't you think? Many of us don't want to rely on anyone but ourselves, but if we will keep our focus on Him, and seek His guidance, He will cause our plans/works to be successful. Go Tim.

Great post, Pete. Your friend, Sean Carpenter, gave me a link to your post because he and I had a great conversation about Tim Tebow on Twitter that led me to write my own post about Tebow. Feel free to read it at: callingraleighhome.com

Tebow is a leader because he puts his teammates into situations where they can contribute to the goal they want to achieve. He brings out the best in others. As Tebow said after the win against the Bears "my teammates make me look better than I am." Tebow's humbleness that allows him to share the credit with his teammates is quite remarkable in such a young man.

It's important for people of all ages, but especially younger ones, to find good people to emulate. It would be wise for anyone to look at the characteristics of Tim Tebow and use his examples as something to follow.
