Leadership and Feed your Mind and the Rest will Follow
I love me a good keynote!Tim Sanders was one of the keynote speakers last week at the Blue Ridge Conference on Leadership. (By the way, mark your calendars for next years event, which will be October 10-12, 2012 in Asheville, NC. You can see by the photo that this is a fantastic place to hold a leadership conference).
Tim worked for Yahoo! and has just released his 4th book titled Today We Are Rich. In this book, he highlights seven principles of total confidence. As a leader, this book will be right up your alley.
One of his seven points is "Feed your mind good stuff."
Man, am I way off base on that!
Let's go through my normal TV watching list, shall we?
- Survivor
- American Idol
- The Biggest Loser
- The Office
- NCAA football (any game, any time, but preferably SEC games)
- Grey's Anatomy
- and more that I am too embarassed to mention here
Are you getting the picture?
How can I become a better leader when I am filling my mind with total and absolute garbage?
It's time for me to make a change. If you watch as much crappy TV as me, I suggest you do the same!

So is keeping up with the Kardashian's good food or bad for my mind. I am so confused!
